A transformative awakening practice that promotes spiritual growth and a reconnection to your innate wholeness and inner wisdom
InnerDance is a transformative awakening practice—an interplay of energy work and consciousness facilitated through the medium of music.
This modality creates the conditions for life force energy (Kundalini) and consciousness to flow freely. It is a path that leads to self-discovery and the organic progression of one’s spiritual process.
Through this practice, folks are often able to reconnect with themselves and life in a new way—insights, clarity, closure, peace, and a greater sense of wholeness are all possible. For many, InnerDance is an essential part of their self-care and wellness routine.
Experience your potential in the InnerDance for yourself.
4th Fridays at Yoga Refuge in Portland, OR
About The InnerDance Practice
You will lie down on a yoga mat and take a few minutes to unwind. Allison will guide you through a brief relaxation meditation, then music will be played. You’ll keep your eyes closed and drop into the space.
Your only task is to tune into what moves within your body, mind, and spirit and allow it to flow, to be felt, and to be expressed without judgment . There are no expectations, and there is nothing to “do” other than completely open yourself to the experience —this is the practice.
Allison will facilitate by holding space, working with your energetic field, providing supportive touch, and serving as a witness as your truth unfolds.
How to Prepare for InnerDance
This practice relies on your ability to sense or perceive subtleties. For improved sensitivity, it’s best to avoid animal products, alcohol, and heavy meals 24 hours before practice. If you can, it’s best to arrive on an empty stomach or a few hours after a light meal.
What to Bring to InnerDance
-Comfortable clothing
-Water
-Yoga mat to lie down on
-Eye mask & journal (both optional)
-A wholesome snack (recommended)
Aftercare & Integration
After InnerDance practice, caring for yourself is vital.
Give yourself the gift of time and space to process any emotions or thoughts that may have bubbled up to the surface. Consider journaling about your experience.
You may find yourself craving change, being drawn to more nourishing foods, experiencing energetic surges, or realizing you need deep rest. Listen to these cues and honor any shifts in your needs.
Finally, it's important to "go with the flow" and integrate any helpful insights you receive into your daily life to support your well-being and ongoing spiritual journey.
Contraindications
InnerDance provides a secure and supportive environment for self-expression and organic spiritual unfoldment. However, it is not recommended or safe for individuals with chronic mental disorders or severe mood disorders.
About Allison
Allison helps spiritually minded folks reconnect with their innate wholeness and inner wisdom while serving as a witness to their process. She values truth, humility, gratitude, and lifelong learning.
She is a didgeridoo sound therapist, accredited meditation teacher, Reiki Master Teacher, and InnerDance facilitator. Her work is rooted in the principles of non-dual Vedic and Tantric frameworks.
Allison attended InnerDance facilitator training in 2023 with Serena Olson, a highly gifted intuitive and teacher. She was called to this modality after having experienced its transformational potential firsthand. She holds a deep reverence for the beauty of this practice.
Now, she extends this gift of holistic wellness to others and dedicates herself to being an effective conduit of life force energy. Her daily embodiment practices include meditation, mantra repetition, reading on spiritual topics, didgeridoo practice, a vegetarian diet, and personal reflection.
When not holding space for others, you can find her sipping on a hot cup of cacao and dreaming about building an off-grid cabin.
