Innerdance & Cacao

About this Event:

Join Rachel and Connie for an afternoon of cacao medicine, gentle movement and Innerdance.

Yellow Bamboo Yoga Studio

38 Baileyfield Road

Edinburgh, EH15 1NA

Please book in advance to avoid disappointment

Starting with a cacao ceremony, we will work with this gentle plant-medicine to take you deeper into your heart and experience a greater connection to yourself, the people around you and the world at large. Dropping out of your thinking minds and into your heart-space helps to create more peace, love, trust and harmony in your life.

You will then be guided through a gentle movement practice to allow the energy generated from the cacao to flow through your body, opening yourself up to a magical Innerdance journey.

We will guide you through an Innerdance session. This is not a physical dance, rather the dance of energies within you. Lie down and let the sound and energetic vibrations take you on a journey to remember and connect to your wholeness. Through using different sound frequencies, you will venture into an awaken-dream-like state of consciousness.

The powerful combination of mother cacao, movement and Innerdance will open you up to powerful transformation and a world of new possibilities.

What to bring

Please wear loose fitting or comfortable clothing. You may want to bring layers to keep you warm during the Innerdance.

A bottle of water to keep you hydrated.

Bring blankets and pillows (or whatever you need to feel comfy) during the Innerdance.

Yoga mats, bolsters and eye-masks will be provided.

What is Cacao?

We will be using ceremonial-grade cacao ethically sourced from the Tsatsayaku Association of the Ecuadorian Amazon. Ceremonial cacao comes straight from the bean and isn’t processed like the cacao you get from the supermarket. And this is where the magic lies!

Cacao is the mother. It holds you and supports you to connect to and open your heart. By opening your heart, you feel more connected to yourself, other people and the world around you. You open yourself up to new perspectives and a new way of being.

Cacao is a healing experience for your body, mind and soul, it increases the energetic field and allows you to be open for healing in unexpected ways.

What is Innerdance?

Innerdance is not a physical dance, rather it is a dance of energies within you.

Innerdance is a journey guided by music designed to recreate the circadian rhythm that we experience every night through sleep. Using different sound frequencies and waves, you will venture into an awaken-dream like state of consciousness.

The soundscape is supported by intuitive energy work, body work and gentle touch given by Rachel and Connie.

What have people experienced during and after Innerdance?

⭐Feeling more rested and better sleep

⭐An awakening of energy and inner power, kundalini awakening

⭐Trauma release through the acknowledgement and releasing of trapped emotions and sensations in the body

⭐Feeling of grounded, safe, relaxed and calm (‘floating on a cloud’)

⭐Lucid dreams, psychedelic visuals and journeys

⭐New ideas and creativity

Connection to greater consciousness (‘we are all one’)

⭐Connecting to ancestors and loved ones who have past

⭐Connect to past lives or memories from this life

⭐A new perspective of life/a challenge

⭐A feeling of wholeness and remembrance of who you are

Innerdance is a place where science meets mystery and the potentiality of healing and remembrance occurs.
