About this Event
Grammy-nominated International Reggae band Inna Vision continues to represent Hawaiian Reggae on a global stage with lyrics, versatility, energy and a relentless work ethic. A decade after Inna Vision was born on Maui, the roots reggae band continues to motivate and elevate consciousness by spreading aloha and positive vibes all over the world. They have evolved from the slow-trance chord progressions that are the fundamentals of roots reggae by blending the upbeat influences of contemporary Reggae, Dancehall and Hip Hop. That evolution and inspiration took “the vision” to Reggae on the River, California Roots Festival, Reggae on the Hills, Pure Aloha Festival and Hawaii’s Mayjah Rayjah. Founded in 2005 by lead singer and bassist Koa Lopes, Inna Vision has played in more than 100 cities across America with their friends Tribal Seeds, Fortunate Youth, New Kingston, and The Steppas. They were blessed to share stages with Damian Marley, SOJA, Rebelution, Collie Buddz and wrapped up a wild 2015 with three back-to-back tours with international reggae icon J Boog. “Reggae Music makes us feel like we can’t die. To be blessed with the gift, lift up spiritualist, through thespeakers abyss, that is where we will be.”
Kaya Kotura is a reggae rock band based out of San Antonio, TX. Their sound comes together with the combined talents of singer/songwriter/guitarist Storm Guevara, Joel Longoria on guitar, Aaron Cooper on Drums, Alex Cooper on keys and Bradley Brock on bass.
