About this Event
Get creative this October and learn how to draw in ink using natural materials. You will be able to learn how to make a bamboo pen and create inks from ingredients found in household cupboards. There will be a demonstration of mixing inks and washes and you will be able to experiment making different marks with a wide variety of traditional and homemade drawing tools. After exploring mark making, we will do some enjoyable expressive drawing exercises before having time to develop an ink drawing of longer duration incorporating collaged elements. At the end of the workshop, you will have a bamboo pen to take home and a series of drawings so that you can build on what you have learnt in the workshop.
Suitable for absolute beginners and those with more experience who wish to develop their practice.
