Explore 18th-century ink making and writing techniques in the library’s local history center.
About this Event

Learn to make ink from natural and foraged materials like walnuts and oak galls. We will use feather quills to create maritime charts and treasure maps of Montauk. Each participant will take home a bottle of ink and a feather quill pen.

Suitable for adults and children, grades 3+.
