This beginner-level calligraphy class will introduce three different varieties of pens and markers that will demonstrate how fun this new skill is to learn. Students will experience exciting ways of learning the basics of hand calligraphy. Participants will learn to produce various types of letters that are thin, thick, straight, slanted, curvy, and classic. Instructor Joan Dobrin will provide pens, worksheets, and tracing paper. Participants will leave with the knowledge to help master lettering with practice. The following calligraphy pens and their use will be covered:
- Micron Pen (Students will receive one to take home)
- Dual Brush Pen (Students will receive one to take home)
- Pilot Pen (Students will borrow pens from instructor for use during the learning session)
