About this Event
Inhabiting Bodies is an invitation to explore our bodies as habitats - as rhythm, as breath, as living landscapes. Guided by music from INHABIT (album by Sandrayati), this immersive movement experience traces the cycle of life through 4 phases: recall, release~, arise* and INHABIT, echoing the wisdom and the menstrual cycle as a metaphor for all creation.
The workshop welcomes all genders to explore embodiment as a creative ritual. Through guided movement, poetic prompts, partner work, and a deep listening to body and earth, we remember that to move is to be alive - and to be alive is to belong.
No dance or professional movement experience is necessary - just a willingness to feel, explore and listen.
The workshop was created by Sandrayati and originally taught in Iceland! It is now being taught around the world with this rendition facilitated by Josephine of The Body Knows Somatics.
We invite you to purchase tickets quickly as the space is intimate, so capacity is limited to 10 participants at this time.
