About this Event
This briefing is intended for CT legislators and staff to learn about FGM/C as a human rights issue, hear directly from survivors about its impact, understand how this issue affects Connecticut communities, ask questions about the need for comprehensive legal protections, and engage with coalition partners working to end FGM/C in our state. Public are welcome to attend, but this is primarily for elected officials. Immediately following the briefing, we will have a networking luncheon (sponsored by Equality Now).
