I'm getting a head start on a New Year's resolution to do more botany. If you're in Wellington over the break, Ben and I are planning to map the ramarama in Khandallah Park and see how they are doing. I've also never seen a Gastrodia orchid and they should be visible at this time, so we'll hunt for that too.This will probably be 2-3 hours, mostly off-track and probably with a bit of scrambling about.
Meet at the park entrance in Woodmancote Rd. If you are coming by public transport, let me know and if needed we can tweak the start time so you can get there.
