About this Event

This inclusive and comprehensive workshop is designed specifically for Black sexuality professionals. It delves into BDSM 101, briefly uncovering kink’s historical roots, addressing and dispelling misconceptions, and recognizing kink’s place as a healthy sexual expression. The workshop also explores potential racial and historical connotations, aiming to enhance sexuality professionals’ understanding and ensure they’re prepared to support diverse expressions of sexuality in therapeutic and/or educational settings, specifically for Black clinicians and kinksters.

This workshop is intended for those 18 and older only.

This workshop is open to all individuals regardless of race but will center Black folks and the Black experience in the kink community.
