Please would everyone note & abide by OUR SAFE SPACE POLICY below at all times you are on the premises:-
OUR SAFE SPACE POLICY
We openly welcome people of all walks of life to our events, but especially those who would consider themselves to be a part of the Alternative & LGBTQ+ scene, who wouldn’t necessarily feel safe in larger more mainstream venues. As such we want to make an extra effort to do our best to make them feel safe when they come to our events.
So could we please ask all our customers to be mindful of their actions & words at all times.
As over 18 year old adults we should all know what’s appropriate & what isn’t, please don’t touch, gesture at, or stare at, anyone in a way that may make them feel uncomfortable, in fact it’s best not to touch anyone at all without their express permission first, unless it’s just to lightly tap them on the shoulder to get their attention.
Also, be careful what you’re saying to people, clearly racist, homophobic, transphobic, or sexist etc, comments are completely unacceptable, but also we won’t tolerate derisory or derogatory comments or any nastiness or bullying towards people either.
If however something does happens that anyone feels is inappropriate, we want to encourage you to report it to us immediately after it’s happened. You should speak to one of the DJs who help run the night, the person in the cloakroom, or the security doorperson when present.
If we’re not told about it straight away then it’s much harder to take any action on your behalf, as we need to speak to the person immediately so we can take them to task & possibly eject them from the club if their behaviour warrants it, a future ban could also be imposed if deemed appropriate too.
