WHAT IS OPEN PLAY?
Open play in pickleball is much like a casual, friendly get-together where various games are ongoing. You can drop in during a two-hour slot and play with a mix of people, and you don’t need to bring a partner. In each session, you will be matched with players at your skill level for enjoyable, fair games. The vibe is laid-back and sociable, with an emphasis on enjoying the game and the company. Games rotate, allowing you to play, take brief breaks, and play again. In essence, open play is about joining in, playing with diverse people, and enjoying the relaxed, communal atmosphere of pickleball.
