Indonesia is currently executing a massive transformation of its labor force. The government is prioritizing the creation of an AI-ready workforce capable of leveraging global tools to solve local problems at scale. As the largest economy in Southeast Asia, Indonesia’s ability to integrate AI into its industrial and service sectors is a primary driver for the flow of venture capital and high-end computing infrastructure across the region.

This session offers a rare look at how a regional power is preparing its country to lead in an automated economy. By bringing together a National AI policymaker from the Vice President’s Office and the global head of NVIDIA’s AI Technology Center, we provide a concrete look at how policy and infrastructure converge to create the most significant market opportunity in the region.
