About this Event
The first ever Indie Oxford Day on Saturday 21 March 2026 - encouraging as many people as possible to shop, celebrate or support independent businesses in Oxfordshire.
To celebrate and kick off the day, we're setting up Indie Oxford Base Camp at Common Ground. Pop in from 10am - 12noon to:
- Meet the Indie Oxford team
- Get recommendations on brilliant indies to support on Indie Oxford Day (and beyond!)
- Discover what other events, activities and special offers are running on Indie Oxford Day across the county
- Meet and mingle with amazing indie businesses
- Fuel up on coffee from Common Groud
- Take part in a photo call celebratng Indie Oxford Day with Jason from Fyrefly Studio (at 11am)
Indie Oxford Day is a great way to celerate and support the indie businesses which make Oxfordshire such a great place to be. It's a great reason to share a recommendation, try something new and find out about other brilliant indie businesses in Oxfordshire.

About Indie Oxford
Independent Oxford was created in 2015, to amplify the positive social impact of local businesses.
What started as a monthly meet up for indies, has now grown organically into a community of over 180 businesses, who support each other, champion the value of buying local and the positive social impact indies can make. We are driven to encourage more people away from the chains and to invest in their local economy and community, and do this through the reach of the website and IO social channels and newsletter, highlighting Oxfordshire indies and why local is better for us all.
