The Indiana Dunes Birding Festival occurs along the shores of Lake Michigan to celebrate the area’s rich biodiversity and bird-watching opportunities within the Indiana Dunes National Park. Activities include over 180+ guided carpool tours to view migrating birds, presentations, workshops, live birds of prey, and more. The festival also includes a vendor marketplace, evening excursions and social events, and art exhibition.
Come celebrate with us May 14-17, 2026. Registration begins in early March. More information about the festival can be found at indunesbirdingfestival.com.
