With a long and varied tradition of vegetarian food, Indian cuisine is perfect for making full-flavoured plant-based food at home.
Tonight's cooking class will focus on the key ingredients and cooking techniques needed to produce vibrant, delicious Indian flavour in an all-vegetarian meal.
Chef Heidi has years of experience cooking and teaching Indian cuisine, informed by her travels and research.
Participants will learn how to make homemade spice mixes (masalas) and how to properly cook them. The class will include both demonstration instruction and hands-on cooking. We will cook and share a delicious vegetarian meal, including lentil dahl, aloo gobi, homemade spice mixes, fresh chutneys, layered salad, and much more. Vegan-friendly!
