Discover the art of home-style Punjabi Indian cooking and learning with guaranteed tasty results. The Perfect Indian Cooking Lesson, to learn to spice with Lajina and her fun, hands-on style.
Choose your favourite dishes and learn how to spice to suit your taste. Learn to cook an authentic Indian feast bursting with fresh spicy flavours.
You’ll learn how to combine the ingredients and spices to create some tempting starters and classic main dishes. By the end of the day, you will leave with the confidence to recreate these dishes at home and learn about classic Indian dishes and techniques.

• An Indian Starter with an accompanying dip
• A Main Curry
• A Vegetable Side
• How to make Perfect Rice
• An Indian bread
Techniques learnt
• How to make Indian starters
• Making Indian dips to accompany the starters
• How to make a curry base & use this with different meat / fish / vegetables
• Cooking authentic dhal or veg side
• How to use spices to get the best from each blend
• Cooking basmati rice to perfection
• Learning to make dough, roll and cook this to make flatbreads
There will be a maximum of 6 learners per class, where you will gain lots of cooking skills, try delicious spicy flavours in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
This day long beginners’ class is designed to give you total confidence in using all of these techniques, even if you are an accomplished cook, you will learn to cook an authentic Indian Curry base, cook a delicious feast and leave with a take-out to enjoy in the comfort of your home.
This one day course is designed to give you the confidence to repeat a range of curries time and time again at home, for your family and friends, with practice, in time without recipes!
We’ll provide an apron for the day, together with all the equipment, spices and ingredients, including drinks, lunch and take out packs for the day.
