It’s a Party Down by the Creek — Indian Creek FestivalOne of Caldwell’s most beloved traditions returns with a full weekend of family‑friendly fun. Enjoy breakfast prepared by Caldwell Fire Dept, peruse the classic car show, enter the dance competition, and watch the first responder tug‑of‑war, spanning the creek –– someone’s getting wet! And don’t miss the crowd favorite: the Cardboard Kayak Race, where ingenuity, duct tape, and competitive spirits come together.
Indian Creek hasn’t always been the centerpiece of our downtown. For decades, it flowed hidden beneath pavement and buildings. When the city uncovered the creek in 2003, the first Indian Creek Festival was born — a small gathering in a parking lot that has since grown into a two‑day celebration sweeping across multiple blocks of our beautifully revitalized downtown.
