Indian Classical Music Concert
Silpi Paul is a Classical Vocalist based in Kolkata, India. She holds a Master’s degree in Hindustani Classical Vocal from Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata following the Kirana and Benaras Senia Gharanas (style of music) and have had the distinct honour of being a disciple of Pandit Arun Bhaduri and Padmavibhusan Vidushi Girija Devi. She is currently continuing my musical training under the guidance of Dr. Asit De. She is an All India Radio 'A' graded artist and am empanelled with SpicMacay and Doordarshan. She has performed at many prestigious concerts across India and abroad specially traveled extensively in UK and Europe. Some notable concerts are Uttarpara Sangeet Chakra, and Matonga Sarat Chandra Arolkar Sangeet Sabha (Mumbai), Thumri Baithak (Bangalore) Tagore Centre (Berlin, Germany); Gandhi Centre (The Hague); Theater am Faden (Stuttgart, Germany); and Maharishi European Research University (MERU, Seelisberg, Switzerland), United Nations Concert (Geneva); Indo Czech Global Festival; Centre For Heartfulness (Lausanne and Montpellier); Westminster Music Library (London); The Victoria Institute (Arundel); Ventnor Arts Club; Skelmersdale Maharishi Golden Dome etc.
Prantar Karmakar a young tabla artist following Farukhabad Gharana disciple of Shri Sandip Ghosh. He started his learning at the age of 2 under the tutelage of his father Shri Anupam Karmakar. His first public performance with tiny fingers happened in 2002 at Balagharh Shastriya Sangeet Samaj when he was just 2.5 years. Hello stood first in Sangeet Piyasi(2014), Chetla Murari(2015), and He got CCRT National Scholarship from Ministry of Culture in 2019. He also stood First in Youth Festival, West Bengal, Govt of West Bengal and received Gold Medal in Punjab Inter University Tabla Competition. In Educational aspect Prantar studied also Music and completed Bachelor and was University Topper in Masters. He has been performing many notable concerts across the country to name SwarDarbar, Kolkata; Baba Harivallabh, Jalandhar; Muktakash Manch, Raipur; Gurukul Socio-cultural Organization, Tripura, Maitreyi Jorasako Thakur Bari etc.
