Indian Block Printing Workshop - Frome Art School

Step away from the noise of everyday life and spend a relaxed morning immersed in the traditional craft of wooden block printing.

These small, guided workshops are designed for beginners and those simply curious to explore this beautiful technique. You will be gently led through the process of printing using hand-carved wooden blocks, learning how to build pattern, layer colour and enjoy the rhythm of making by hand.

All materials are provided, and no previous experience is needed. The focus is on slowing down, experimenting freely and enjoying the creative process in a welcoming, supportive setting.

By the end of the session, you will have created two finished pieces to take home. Think Tote Bag, Table runner, napkins, Apron, Make-up bag, Drawstring bag, Wall Hnging*) along with the confidence and inspiration to continue exploring block printing in your own time.
