British-Cypriot artist India Arkin crafts ethereal indie-rock from her new home in Bristol. Blending delicate Middle Eastern and Japanese tonalities with jazz-influenced songwriting, her sound balances softness and strength — lyrical, painterly, and deeply human. After becoming HMV’s first ever signed artist and a National Album Day ambassador, Arkin now steps into a new era, drawing inspiration from Alice Phoebe Lou, Billie Marten, and Men I Trust. With support from BBC Introducing and a string of acclaimed live shows across the UK and Europe, she continues to redefine what vulnerability can sound like.
Performing with her full band, she’s supported Tom Grennan and The Feeling, taken the stage at festivals including Bingley Weekender, Spring Classic, and 100Above, and become a two-time headliner at Rotterdam’s Left of the Dial, where she was named one of the festival’s top 15 artists from over 115 international acts. Recognition from BBC Introducing, who named her a Top Tip Artist, and continued support from Tom Robinson’s Mixtape, further cement her place as a rising voice in the UK’s alternative landscape.
