About the Artist
For over 30 years, Boo Hewerdine has been regarded as one of the UK’s finest singer-songwriters. From his early work as the lead singer of the seminal band The Bible, through to his acclaimed solo career and long-time collaboration with the incomparable Eddi Reader, Boo has become something of a national treasure.
An in-demand writer, producer and performer, Boo’s songs have been covered by over a hundred artists, including k.d. lang, Kris Drever, Chris Difford, Heidi Talbot, and Hannah Rarity. His most recent album, Before, recorded with Danish multi-instrumentalist Gustaf Ljunggren, received multiple five-star reviews.
On this tour, Boo will perform songs from his new album, recent collaborations, and his extraordinary back catalogue. A naturally gifted storyteller, his live shows are warm, engaging, and consistently joyful.
