Auburn is coming together to celebrate Independence Day on Saturday, July 4, 2026, and we can’t wait to see the community fill the fields for an evening of food, music, and patriotic fun. Gates open at 5 p.m., giving families plenty of time to grab dinner, enjoy the entertainment, and settle in before the fireworks begin.Enjoy delicious food and treats for purchase while listening to live music from a featured band and the high‑energy sounds of D.J. OZZ. Kids can enjoy inflatables, face painting, and FREE giveaways courtesy of Auburn Parks and Recreation.
🎆 Fireworks
The fireworks show will begin around 9 p.m., or shortly after depending on nightfall. If weather becomes an issue, the rain date is Sunday, July 5. Fireworks will be launched from a centrally located site and can be viewed from the Auburn Mall parking lot and surrounding neighborhoods.
🚗 Parking
Families are encouraged to park at:
-Duck Samford Stadium — 1840 East Glenn Avenue
-Duck Samford Fields 8–10 & Bo Cavin Baseball Fields — 333 Airport Road
Please note that Duck Samford Baseball Fields 1–3 and the adjacent parking lot on East University Drive will be closed to the public to accommodate the fireworks shoot site. The Airport Road lot shared by the Bo Cavin fields and New Duck fields will remain open.
