PRiME Advanced: Inclusive Learning Environments: A Deep Dive into EDI
Description:
This interactive two-hour session, developed by the MB ChB EDI Committee, focuses on how we can create inclusive learning environments that support positive student experiences and outcomes across a diverse undergraduate cohort. The session explores what constitutes a learning environment and our role to embed effective Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) practices so students feel safe, supported, and able to learn.
Participants will gain practical strategies to plan inclusive placements, respond to challenges such as micro-aggressions, and promote positive behaviours and cultural change within clinical teams and organisations, in line with professional and regulatory expectations.
There are 2 CPD points for this workshop applied for through the Royal College of Physicians.
Please note that these sessions are held Face:Face at the location as specified
*Parking - the nearest carpark to the Education Resource Centre is the maternity car park, however, parking is limited but there are other visitor car parks on hospital grounds further away and at the front of the hospital.
