Speakers
Lizzy Davis
Lizzy Davis is a Senior Visual Designer working at advertising agency House337. In her 10 years in the Design sector, she has worked for clients such as Apple, HSBC, Santander, Unilever, Costa Coffee, and gov.uk. Since seeking help for her mental health and time management struggles in 2021, she was informally diagnosed with ADHD by her psychotherapist.
Since then, she has gone on to become an advocate for how businesses can better support their neurodiverse employees, allowing them to not only survive but thrive in design roles and beyond.
Vivian Wall
Vivian is a multidisciplinary creative with a passion for people and a commitment to inclusivity. Over the past 3 years she has worked as a consultant, advising clients on the creation of spaces that, consider diverse user characteristics such as neurodiversity, disability, gender identity, age, culture, and more.
With a deep fascination of marketing and emerging technologies, she is keen to leverage her inclusive design experience to help brands create campaigns that appeal to and represent a wider range of audiences.
Matt Roberts
Matt is the lead UX designer at Sightsavers, a charity protecting sight and fighting for disability rights across Africa and Asia. He is co-chair of the BIMA Inclusive Design Council which inspires and supports the UK digital industry in creating inclusive experiences.
A respected voice in accessibility, Matt has contributed to Econsultancy best-practice guides and written articles like 'Being a Colourblind Designer' for Creative Review. He conducts workshops at events like the D&AD Design Festival and the London College of Communication. Recognised in the BIMA100 'Champions for Change,' Matt influences the digital and tech industry through his dedication to inclusive design.
Aleksandra Melnikova
Aleks is a co-founder of Cosmic Velocity, a London-based agency designing inclusive digital products, services, and training. Before founding Cosmic Velocity, Aleks led design teams at top UX agencies like ORM, Foolproof, Publicis Poke, and Webcredible. Over the years, she has worked across various industries, from startups to large corporates, focusing on service design, UX design, research, and capability building.
Her clients include global brands like VISA, Virgin Atlantic, British Airways, Moonpig, Pearson Education, and UK government departments, as well as emerging startups in healthcare and sustainability. She has created tools for finding diverse children's books, mental health support, sourcing inclusive imagery, and conducting inclusive research.
Ashley Peacock
Ashley works primarily on AbilityNet’s inclusive user-research practices. Her expertise lies at the intersection of cognitive science, AI, and technology.
Ashley previously led a company for four years, specialising in tailored assistive solutions for governments, businesses, and charities. This included creating 3D autism simulations, collaborating with the NHS on a mental health triaging tool during the COVID pandemic, and engineering custom software to help people with neurodegenerative conditions read again in partnership with UCL. As a neurodivergent professional, Ashley continues to make an impact through public speaking, writing, and research.
