Join John Launius and Jacob Zengerling for an evening of incense, music, art, and community. John will share smokeless incense from around the world and Jacob will be performing a beautiful audio landscape on guitar as a backdrop for this very special occasion. We will be dropping into a quiet meditative flow state for 1 - 1.5 hours so please arrive on time and ready to create or meditate after a brief introduction from our host Ace.

Come to Drawn Studio on Friday June 19th by 5:30pm ready to tap into your creativity with fellow artists. Drawing spaces with horses and easels are limited so please sign up as soon as you can! We will have yoga mats and chairs, but if you want to bring a blanket or other props for more comfort, please feel free to do so.
The location of the entrance is behind the building, accessible through an alley parallel to Big Bend. Parking is available nearby but we ask that you keep the drive clear to avoid blocking vehicles in the lot outside Drawn Studio’s door.
5:30 pm – Doors open, artists set up, and Jacob begins playing
6:00 pm – John begins the incense journey
Ends at 8:00 PM
8-8:15 pm breakdown and informal art share

About the Presenters
John Launius, CHt, CPTD is CEO of Shihan Wellness and Shihan Consultants. He serves as an Executive Talent Development Coach, Organizational Culture Consultant, and Peak Performance Facilitator. Additionally, John is a certified "Kōmoto" (Master of Ceremonies) in the centuries-old Japanese tradition of incense appreciation (Kōdō). He offers The Incense Journey™ for groups, The Personal Incense Journey, and therapeutic fragrance hypnosis for individuals. He is a certified hypnotist by the National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH.) Jacob Zengerling is a holistic guitarist; a talented multi-instrumentalist who provides soundscapes for sound baths and yoga classes when he’s not on stage as a rock 'n roll bassist. Jacob has embarked down his own incense journey making him the perfect accompaniment for the evening.
Parking: The studio entrance (2523 South Big Bend Boulevard) is located in the rear of the building. Parking in the immediate rear of the building is, unfortunately, limited and reserved for tenants only. You can find parking, though, at 2531 South Big Bend Boulevard, just 2 doors down from the studio. The parking lot is occupied by the MRH school administrative office.
Just park, then walk up the alley "Martini Dr." behind the building.
Turn onto Rannells , make an immediate left turn onto Martini Drive, pass Drawn Studio, and park just 2 doors down in the parking lot behind the Maplewood Richmond Heights Administration building.
