Inaugural Grandmas Night - Crochet Beginner Class - Make a Holiday Hat

Welcome to the first-ever Grandmas Night - a celebration and demonstration of handcrafts, made to feel like you're (sorta) at your grandma's house! Each Grandma Night will include a skilled-handcraft taught by mastered artisans, and include themed appetizers and foods, drinks including cocktails, artisan and vintage shopping, and a swap of gently used items!

This is inaugural Grandmas Night - and in the spirit of season, we are going all-out Holiday, and we're making a beginner-level crochet beanie (hat). Join us by the fireplace at Sessions Retreat & Hotel for crafters at any age - and no, you don't have to be an actual grandma. (See special ticket pricing below.)

But REALLY - What am I paying for?

• Grandma wouldn't expect you to know what you need to learn to crochet, and neither do we! We're supplying all the materials and tools you'll need for this project - and hey, take it home with you! This month is the Holiday Crochet Beanie - beginner level, using yarn, a crochet hook, and accessories.
• Our artisan vendors this month include Comes with Cat Hair Crochet, Crafty Ashwe, and Hosted by Bb from Blue Collar Vintage & Handcrafts. (Maybe you've seen us at local markets?!)
• Savory & Sweet Hors d'oeuvres & Desserts. Are you hungry? You look hungry - come snack from our hearty seasonal spread.
• Holiday Mulled Red Wine and non-alcoholic Hot Apple Cider. Sessions will operate a full bar for other beverage requests.

Other fun (but optional) parts of Grandma Night:

• Dress cozy - sweatpants, jammies, your hand-knitted sweater, or even cosplay as a granny with a wig!
• The Swap - each month we'll feature a category of item, and if you have under-loved, excess, planned-for-xyz-but it didn't happen, bring it in! We'll swap items for free. This month we're feature spare craft & textile supplies - buttons, zippers, spare fabric, extra yarn, duplicate needles, hooks, etc etc. Extra items will be donated.
• Girlie-Pop Dance Party - you can dance if you want to, leave your friends behind. But seriously - we will play PG girlie-pop music videos and we can all dance. :)
• Bring a Dish! There's plenty of food to go around, but it can feel weird showing up to Grandma's house empty-handed, so we always welcome extra snacks. :)
