The City of Tipton and Mayor Kegan Schmicker invite you to the first-ever Tipton Tree Lighting Tradition on Monday, December 1, 2025, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM in downtown Tipton.Celebrate the start of the Christmas season with your friends and neighbors as we light a brand-new 30-foot Christmas tree featuring more than 800 ornaments. The evening will include:
Live entertainment from local schools
Seasonal music and warm hot chocolate
Family-friendly activities for children
The event will conclude with the official tree lighting ceremony at 6:00 PM, led by Mayor Schmicker and two young residents selected through The Farmers Bank’s Tree Lighting Coloring Contest.
This new holiday tradition is made possible through the generous support of The Farmers Bank.
No registration is required — just bring your holiday spirit and join us downtown for an evening of community, cheer, and celebration.
