About this Event
Join Texans for Greater Mental Health for a free screening of In Waves and War, followed by a panel discussion, with complimentary light bites.
In Waves and War follows three former Navy SEALs and their families as they navigate trauma, brotherhood, and the radical path to healing through psychedelic-assisted therapy.
The film offers a raw, human look at the unseen wounds of war and the courage it takes to seek healing when conventional treatments fall short.
Following the screening, our interim Executive Director, Nate Benson, will facilitate a panel discussion featuring leaders across clinical care, the veteran community, and policy working to expand access to these treatments in Texas.
Doors open at 6:00 PM, with the film beginning at 6:30 PM and the panel discussion to follow.
