About this Event

We're back like we never left! The FUNDction of the summer has arrived in support of the first staged production of MUD; or when things get messy and how we live with it, a sibling play about bipolar disorder by multi-hyphenate playwright Camille Simone Thomas. MUD will have its New York debut presented as a part of the 2024 SheNYC Theater Festival on Saturday, August 3rd and Sunday, August 4th at the Connelly Theater. Get to know our incredible playwright and visionary director Autumn Angelettie in a chat moderated by Sis Thee Doll, founder of Thee Open House Project, join the conversation about this heartfelt new work and how we shift the narrative around mental health, and enjoy the rich flavors of Chef Ousmane's West African cuisine at Azara Kitchen on Saturday, July 27th - just one week before opening!

Admission is free but limited. Purchase a raffle ticket for a chance to win a ticket to MUD at a show of your choosing. Raffle winner will be selected live at the mixer. (You don't have to be present to claim your prize).
