DESCO Federal Credit Union and Faith Baptist Church in Wheelersburg, Ohio, are proud to announce a collaborative community educational event aimed at combating fraud and promoting safety through awareness. This lunch-and-learn style event is free to attend and open to the public. It is designed to equip community members with the knowledge to recognize, avoid, and report common scams—especially those targeting older adults and vulnerable populations. A complimentary lunch will be provided for all attendees.
Event hosts are excited to welcome Amber Ziegler of the Cincinnati Better Business Bureau as a featured speaker at the event. Ms. Ziegler will speak to attendees about common fraud tactics, how to stay vigilant against fraud, and the “red flags of scams.”
