Greg Warner joined the Porter Township Fire Department at 18 and served on the Department for 51 years. He also worked for
nearly 20 years as the Safety & Service Director. Greg passed away from esophageal cancer in 2023. He was a frequent blood donor, and also a blood recipient. Greg truly lived to help others, and this blood drive was planned for his birthday (November 8th) as a way to honor his caring spirit and legacy of helping others. Blood donated at this drive will go to people who need it in the region.
