About this Event
In November 1979, 52 Americans were captured at the U.S. Embassy in Teheran by Iranian militants.
In February 1980, the hostage takers invited 50 ordinary Americans to visit Iran and Rabbi Jaffe made the trip to Teheran.
When the hostages were released in January 1981 after 444 days in captivity, Rabbi Jaffe was invited to greet the Americans at the White House.
Join us for an engaging discussion on resilience and faith as he shares his experiences with the hostage crisis in Iran and his humanitarian journey.
