Storytelling shapes our view of ourselves, the cosmos, and the divine. Join Jeremy Crawford, formerly a lead designer of Dungeons & Dragons and now a game director at Critical Role, for a talk about the role of story in the development of our spiritual practices, theologies, and play. Starting with a meditation on the prologue of John’s gospel — including a fresh translation — Crawford will explore the entangled life of narrative and the religious imagination. Whether we seek mystical union with the divine, a deeper understanding of spiritual tools like the tarot, or a greater sense of empowerment in a roleplaying game, are we ready to wield the wand of the magician-storyteller? Following his talk, Jeremy will be joined by Erik Davis to continue the conversation.Find tickets for the online version here: https://momence.com/l/rqh71DZX
