About this Event

Learn how to use AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude Code) to quickly prototype research tools, data pipelines, and experimental workflows without building full systems from scratch. This session focuses on “vibe coding” — an iterative, conversational approach to developing code with AI that allows researchers to rapidly test ideas, build proof-of-concept tools, and explore new research methods.
Who should take this: Faculty, PhD students, and research staff who want to quickly prototype research ideas, build small research tools, or experiment with AI-assisted coding workflows. Particularly useful for researchers who are not full-time programmers but want to build working prototypes, research demos, or data workflows.
