Join us for a workshop on how to effectively and calmly deal with your teen's anger and emotional outbursts.
About this Event

PLEASE NOTE-THIS IS NOT A CPD TRAINING FOR PROFESSIONALS AND IS ONLY FOR PARENTS AND CARERS OF PRE TEENS &TEENS WHO LIVE IN THE BOROUGH OF GREENWICH.

Teens are emotional beings and can find it difficult to regulate their emotions. While emotions like sadness or frustration may be easier to manage, teenage anger can be especially difficult to deal with. Angry outbursts can be scary, threatening and even cause damage in the home, so having tools to support your teen while managing their anger is vital.

Join us for this workshop on managing teen anger and challenging behaviours, where you will learn:

- What neurological and emotional changes is your teen going through, and how does anger play a part in these?

- Common triggers for anger and how to avoid them

- Way to communicate which minimises teen anger while keeping boundaries

- Ways to manage your own emotions when your teen is angry.

This workshop is part of our wider series for parents and carers in Greenwich. Please visit our Eventbrite page to book any other workshops that may be of interest.
