We are also pleased to announce that the scheduled March 12th BOAPC has organized an in-person Listening Session at Living in Recovery (75 North Street, Pittsfield) from 1:00-3:00 with DPH-BSAS on statewide opioid settlement funds, as well as local needs and priorities. The session will include EOHHS Asst. Secretary Joanne Marqusee and BSAS Director Dierdre Calvert, as well as the ORRF team. ALL ARE ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND! Please feel free to invite others, especially municipal leaders, additional members of the recovery communities, family members affected by a loved one’s SUD, and individual community members. This is an important opportunity for the state to hear directly from residents of the county with the state’s highest overdose fatality rate on how long-standing inequities in rural funding can be addressed.
