In 2021, I launched the Saigon Writers Club based on a belief that everyone has a story inside of them. I then developed a creative writing program to help people tell and write down their stories. Five years and 20 creative writing classes later, I still believe that everyone has a story inside of them. I have also published five short story anthologies of my students' work as proof that people can tell and write down their own story when they put their minds to the task.
In March and April, I will host creative writing class number 21. This will be a 10-session course with the goal of completing a short story. This short story will be published in the Club’s 6th short story anthology. The classes will be in-person in the Thao Dien neighbourhood of Ho Chi Minh City.
