Gnocchi are one of the prized dishes of Tuscany. With a little help and a lot of love, these soft dumplings will melt in your mouth.
In this fun class, you will learn the art of making Gnocchi. First, we will learn about the history of Gnocchi making, exploring its culture and variations. Then, we will get our hands on fresh potatoes to make our dough. Once we have learned to create our shapes and form our dumplings, we will work on our sauce. In this lesson, you will learn how to create Potato Gnocchi with a classic pesto sauce. These flavors are sure to transport you straight to the hills of Northern Italy. Let's discover the mystery behind these fluffy treats and create a dish that can be easily done at home!
All ingredients are easily available at local grocery stores or even in your own home right now so impressing your friends and family with your incredible pasta making skills has never been easier!
No experience needed! All ingredients and cooking equipment is provided for you so all that’s needed is a passion for food and a willingness to learn something new. From the budding chef who wants to expand on their culinary prowess to the person who has never picked up a spatula, this class caters to all and welcomes all levels of learning!
Guest requirement
Outside drinks are not allowed. Beverages will be available for purchase at our partner venue Societe Brewing Old Town. The nature of our classes are set up so that booking parties will work together during class, sharing both ingredients and equipment.
To ensure the safety and enriching experience of all participants, we require children aged 14 to 17 be accompanied by a parent or guardian during our cooking classes. Classes are intended for adults 21+
There is a convenient parking garage behind the venue that offers 1 hour of free parking and $3 per hour after.
