Our next NYC Drawing the Dance Workshop is as follows:
Date: July 16, 2022, SATURDAY.
Time: 1 p.m. EDT
Place: Dixon Place Theater. 161A, Chrystie Street, btwn Delancey & Rivington, NY 10002.
Duration: 1.5 hrs. 2 sets of 30 minutes segments with a short 5 to 10 min break. Ends at 2:45 p.m.

COVID Protocols: Dixon Place requires COVID-19 vaccinations for all their staff, audience members and performers. We request you to wear a high grade mask while inside the building. http://dixonplace.org/coronavirus/ Please bring your proof of vaccination to enter the building. You can show us a photograph of the CDC vaccine card or your NYC Excelsior Pass together with your ID.
In-Person Tickets in advance: $15. * Limited seats for attending in-person. ** We have added a 'Donation' option as well, should you want to support the organization in addition to the ticket price. We appreciate your support!
Tickets at the door (cash only): $18.
In-Person attendees please arrive at the theater by 12:45 p.m.
Virtual tickets: $12. * Zoom link will be sent to the virtual attendees, on the morning of the event.

If you feel sick, please let us know asap and we will be happy to send you the zoom link instead, should you rather attend the workshop virtually.
Dixon Place is fully tested and certified for indoor productions . The AC system is upgraded and equipped with MERV-13 filers.
BRING ALL YOUR OWN MATERIALS, drawing boards, portable easels, or draw on pads on your laps, etc. We can provide music stand as a substitute for easel. There is a sink available in the bathroom for rinsing your brushes. No glitters, please.
Be mindful of your belongings (wallet, phone, etc). The organizer or the venue are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Each artist keeps his/her own drawings/paintings. The dancers and/or the organizers may request the artists for a photo of the art work. It will be at the artists' discretions whether they want to share their art or not.
And lastly, there won't be any instruction or any instructor. We expect the attending artists to have prior knowledge of drawing and painting to try these workshops for a new experience.
