Spring is a common time of year that bear activity is noticeable: they are awake, looking for food, and depending on the year there may not be a lot of food available for them yet so they roam around neighborhoods. Learn the basics about bears in Minnesota, what to do if you see a bear, and about the bear that is believed to hibernate in Elm Creek Park. This program is the paid version where the group will go out on the hike and look for common signs people assume are bears, but are other animals. Examples include: tracks, scat, and tree scratches.
