Drawing on unseen rehearsal footage and performance excerpts, In-I in Motion is a meditation on artistic risk and the transformative process of making work that pushes both bodies and boundaries.
Without voiceover or commentary, Binoche’s directorial debut offers candid insight into the creative process of two exceptional performers as they confront their limits, emotional and physical. A formidable record of artistic experimentation.

Dans le cadre du Luxembourg City Film Festival, la THEATER FEDERATIOUN est heureuse de présenter le documentaire de Juliette Binoche, IN-I IN MOTION, une étude exaltante sur la prise de risques artistique avec le chorégraphe Akram Khan.
En 2007, l’actrice française de renom Juliette Binoche et le danseur-chorégraphe britannique Akram Khan ont mis leur carrière respective entre parenthèses pendant sept mois pour collaborer à la création d’une performance hybride intitulé In-I. S’appuyant sur des images inédites de répétitions et des extraits de la représentation, In-I in Motion est une réflexion sur la prise de risque artistique et le processus de transformation inhérent à la création d’une œuvre éprouvant les corps et repoussant les limites.
Sans voix off ni commentaires, le premier film de Binoche en tant que réalisatrice offre un aperçu authentique du processus créatif de deux artistes d’exception, confrontés à leurs limites émotionnelles et physiques. Un témoignage formidable de l'expérimentation artistique.
