About this Event

Join us here at Hive Mind Books on the six month anniversary of the passing of spoken word poet Andrea Gibson for a community open mic where we'll read and share Andrea's work.

Bring your favorite Andrea Gibson poem, a poem inspired by them, or come to listen. We'll come together to share Gibson's work, their spirit, and to celebrate their life and art.

To sign up to read at the mic, select the free ticket option "Mic General Admission." We will confirm your reading slot with you approximately 10 days before the event. If you want to be in the audience, but not read (which is great!), please select "Audience General Admission." If time allows, we will open sign-up at the event to people who did not sign up in advance.

Copies of Gibson's books will be available at Hive Mind Books. The bookstore's coffee and tea counter will be open for the duration of the event.
