Join the SAF Central Band for an unforgettable evening of music under the direction of our Honorary Guest Conductor Douglas Bostock and Senior Director of Music ME6 Philip Tng. The programme features works that showcase the breadth and brilliance of the wind orchestra repertoire, such as ππΈπ’πΊπ₯π’πΊ by Adam Gorb, ππ¦π΄ π΅π³π°πͺπ΄ π―π°π΅π¦π΄ π₯πΆ ππ’π±π°π― by Toshio Mashima, and ππͺπ°π―πΊπ΄πͺπ’π²πΆπ¦π΄ by Florent Schmitt, with the latter two works celebrating their 25th and 100th anniversaries respectively.Audiences are also warmly invited to a pre-concert talk at 6.30pm, where we take a closer look at the eveningβs programme and celebrate the stories behind the music.
