Join us for an evening with food writer, broadcaster, spice expert, and author of two Indian cookbooks, Mallika Basu.
Mallika's newest book, In Good Taste, is part food culture exploration, part food systems guide. It interrogates what's on our plates: who holds the power in food, how global trade and colonisation shaped our diets, what’s at stake for people and planet, and how curious eaters can make more informed and meaningful choices without sacrificing joy.
Warm, witty, and globally minded, Mallika cuts through the doom to connect the dots between supermarkets, restaurants, trends, climate, culture, and home cooking. In conversation with private chef, food writer, and broadcaster, Sarah Rankin, the result will be a lively, practical, and deeply human conversation about food.
Sarah will provide refreshments, and tickets are fully redeemable against the cost of a signed book.
