Deepening the Smudging Skills –
Sacred Smoke; the Path of Sacred Fire is a workshop for women who have at least one year of experience working with smudging. This course is to deepen the knowledge of the sahumador,. This workshop is for the one who knows their copal burner, who can read it, who walks with it, and feels it as a living support; she who is lighting it regularly and consciously.
This is also for those who have brought the sahumador to a home, a space, or a ceremony, and who now feel the call to go deeper, to refine their medicine, and to align their path.
This in-depth course is a process that allows one to delve into many situations that, during the first year, are not addressed. At this level, we go further. Now we enter into more significant tasks within the practice of purifying a person or a home. In cases requiring more extensive and complex work—people with illnesses, situations involving the use of other medications or more delicate procedures, working with more elements that help complete larger-scale tasks…
Likewise, dimensions related to priesthood and more ritualistic practices are addressed, always from a responsible, conscious, and deeply respectful perspective. I
f you have questions, concerns, or a desire to explore the mysteries and secrets that this sacred medicine reveals with time and practice, this workshop is a meeting place to resolve doubts, share experiences, and continue growing together. Walking this path is taking another step on the path of priesthood. It implies commitment, discipline, and, above all, impeccability: in intention, in action, and in service.

Requirements and items to bring
Clothing: Skirt or dress of any color. Sash and headband (any color). Apron, ideally with a bib, like those worn by Mapuche women.
Sacred tools:
-Your incense burner and the medicines you usually use.
-A generous bouquet of fresh herbs (approx. 40–50 cm long), such as rue, rosemary, lemon verbena, mint, sage, mugwort, or eucalyptus. (Avoid plants with thorns)
-One red flower and one white flower with long stems, preferably not roses.
-Two or three candles of any color (not tea lights, but long, traditional candles).
- Any feathers you have and wish to bring to work with. For the day Lunch to share.

-Grounding: when and how to apply it.
-Sacred Walks and Permissions.
-The Role of Altar Keepers: responsibilities and care.
-Payments and Offerings: reciprocity with the Earth and the spirits.
-The Presence and Role of Male Guardians in Ceremonial Work.
-The Work of the Healer Deep Cleansings of People and Spaces.
-New Forms and Techniques of Energy Cleansing.
-Introduction to New Sacred Instruments.
Essential Themes of the Path Copa Burners:
-how many can be used, when and how to awaken them, offerings and their meanings.
-How much to charge for work as a smudging practitioner? Ethics, energy, and coherence. -Who carries the fire in ceremonies and what is their role?
-The influence of the moon on the use of the incense burner and its relationship to all aspects of ceremonial work.
If you have a drum, rattles, or conch shell, bring them. This workshop will be a living space for deep exploration. More themes, insights, and learning will naturally emerge along the way, according to what the circle and the fire reveal.
