Join us in conversation with Rachel McLean to discuss her gripping crime thrillers, find out what has inspired her to write crime fiction and discover her journey to becoming an award winning ahutor.
Rachel McLean is an award-winning crime author who writes UK- based police procedurals. She is best known for the Dorset Crime series and the DI Zoe Finch series set in her home city of Birmingham. Book 1 in the Dorset Crime series, The Corfe Castle Murders, won the Kindle Storyteller Award 2021. She’s now working on three new series: the McBride and Tanner series set around Loch Lomond in Scotland, the Cumbria Crime series which follows her character DI Zoe Finch to western Cumbria, and the London Cosy Mysteries series.
As well as twenty-five crime novels (so far), she has written seven dystopian thrillers including two trilogies and one standalone novel.
There will be an opportunity to meet the author and have your book signed too. Copies of the book will be available for sale on the day. Please note that we are unable to take card payments at Bromsgrove Library. If you would like to purchase a copy of the book, please have cash available.
