About this Event
A Recipe for M**der: The Mushroom Murders
What do M**der and beef Wellington have in common? Neither is easy to pull off
Get the pastry wrong, overcook the beef, or lace the whole thing with death cap mushrooms, and suddenly your Sunday lunch makes international headlines.
Duncan McNab and Michael Duffy will take you inside the infamous Leongatha Mushroom Murders case and will dish the dirt on the investigation, the courtroom drama, and the appeal that won't go away.
Duncan and Michael are two of the finest true crime minds and will use their decades of knowledge to shed light on the facts of the case, which are so peculiar, including the bizarre behaviour of the accused, Erin Patterson - the claims of having cancer, the google search about death cap mushrooms, visits to a fungi identification website, and a food dehydrator dumped at the local tip.
