Kim Liao is the author of Where Every Ghost Has a Name: A Memoir of Taiwanese Independence. Her writing has appeared in The New York Times, The Guardian, Electric Literature, Lit Hub, The Rumpus, McSweeney’s, The Millions, Salon, Fourth River, Hippocampus, and others. A former Taiwan Fulbright Creative Research Scholar, her work has received support from the Vermont Studio Center, the Jentel Foundation, the Hambidge Center, the Anderson Center, and the Ragdale Foundation. A cultural anthropologist, Anru Lee's research focuses on the Asian Pacific region and issues of capitalism, modernity, gender and sexuality, and urban anthropology. She is the author of "In the Name of Harmony and Prosperity: Labor and Gender Politics in Taiwan's Economic Restructuring" (SUNY Press) and "Haunted Modernities: Gender, Memory, and Placemaking in Postindustrial Taiwan" (U Hawaii Press) and is co-editor of "Women in the New Taiwan" (Routledge) and Brill Encyclopedia of Taiwan Studies (The Gender and Women's Studies Section).

Jimin Han is the author of A Small Revolution and The Apology, a Barnes and Noble Discover Pick; named a best audiobook of the year by Booklist, a best book of the summer by the LA Times, Vanity Fair, Shondaland, Apple Books and more. Additional writing of hers can be found in Poets & Writers, Literary Hub, Catapult, and other publications. She teaches at The Writing Institute at Sarah Lawrence College and community writing centers. Her work has been supported by the New York State Council on the Arts. Dreamt I Found You, her new novel, is forthcoming in April 2026.
