In Bloom - Yoga & Live Drums

In Bloom is a movement experience designed to help you open, awaken, and step into the energy of the season of growth.

Held on the Spring Equinox — a moment of balance between light and dark — this experience invites you into flow, rhythm, and presence.

The journey begins with gentle, rhythmic movement inspired by Haitian folklore dance, used as an opening to warm the body, quiet the mind, and create space to receive. Think of it as preparing the soil — loosening what’s tight, waking what’s been resting, and setting the foundation for growth. This starting part of our journey will be facilitated by Judith Jean-Bruce.

From there, the experience transitions into a yoga flow, by Martine guided by live drumming, where breath and movement are supported by sound. The drums provide a steady rhythm that helps you stay connected, grounded, and immersed in the present moment. This is not about how you look, but about how you feel — supported, fluid, and alive in your body.

Following yoga and meditation, brief journaling moment facilitated by Renee Walker offers space to integrate and set intentions for the season ahead. Light bites and refreshments aligned with the spirit of the event invite nourishment and connection.

In Bloom is for anyone who wants to:

No yoga or dance experience is necessary. All bodies and levels are welcome.
